Summer Trip 2001 Shima Onsen( hot spring)

I went to Shima onsen in Gunma Pref. with my grand ma, cousin and mum.

It is surrounded by mountains and cozy place. Most of Japanese people

loves onsen( hotspring) . It takes almost 2hours from Tokyo by train and bus.

30th June 2001(Sat) **Asakusa**

Asakusa is very popular and famous place for tourist. It is old part of Tokyo.

I live near there. 

Sumida.River and "Yakata-hune". we can have party on this Japanese boat.

"Kamiya Bar" is old bar and has "Denki(Electric) Bran" which is strong spirit and tastes like hot like electricity!(L) "Kaminari-mon(Gate)" is a symbol of Asakusa and gate for Senso(Asakusa) temple.

24th June 2001(Sun) **Election&Shinjuku**

We had an election for the Diet of Tokyo. we have suffrage more than age 20.

Usually to devote, we go to school in each area. 

Board for candidates. Who did  I vote to? Secret...haha..

I had a party today with new friends and my nice buddies at new Irish Pub in Shinjuiku.

Usually I never go out to big cities because I hate crowded places. This is a big crowd in Shinjuku.

Central Park In Tokyo!! This is Hibiya Park and oasis for workers. 

Beautiful Ajisai(Hydrangea) again isn't it? Here is near Ginza and government offices.

This is not new, but interesting pic.

These pics were taken after the New Year's Day in Asakusa. The left one is main street to Senso-Temple(Asakusa Temple). 

He is my Boy Friend. Guess what shapes are those buildings behind him? The left one is Beer company and its shape is Draft Beer in Beer glass. The right one is Beer Restraints. That golden monument was created as flame., but they couldn't make it stand, because of the law of architecture. It seems very strange, doesn't it?

17th June 2001(Sun) **Hiroo**

Today I went to Hiroo which has various countries' embassies and foreign residents

and one of my favorite places in Tokyo. First, I took a walk in Arisugawa Park( following pics.)

Some people were fishing .....It's very small pond and I wonder if they can fish something.../Left

These are the very Japanese flowers called "Ayame" in Japanese, a kind of Iris. 

Pretty, aren't they? / Right

[Ajisai] in Japanese, Hydrangea. This is a symbol of June and rainy season 

from June till early of July.

My favorite " Azabu International Market" !! I bought some oatmeal and Wheetabix for my breakfast

and canned chill beans. / L

Intersection of Hiroo and subway station is on the corner. Tokyo is not pretty.../R

Tokyo Tower, symbol of Tokyo. The height is 333m. In the night, you can see a great view.
